The St. Louis County Attorney’s Office provides legal services in matters involving child protection, child support and paternity, vulnerable adults, and civil commitment. Our attorneys work with County Public Health and Human Services staff when a matter requires legal review or court involvement.
Public Health and Human Services receives reports and provides services. The County Attorney’s Office advises and represents the County in legal proceedings. Our attorneys do not serve as personal lawyers for parents, children or other individuals involved in these matters.
