J. Nicholas Cramer was sentenced to 439 months for Second-Degree Intentional Murder in the death of Frank Gerald Meyer.

The training focused on neighborhood canvassing, which has repeatedly proven to be one of the best ways to gather information quickly.

All parties involved in the assault fled the scene prior to the arrival of law enforcement.  Both the Victim and Suspect were located quickly and both received medical treatment at a local hospital. 

St. Louis County Public Works crews have made repairs and re-opened Hwy 5, which had been closed due to a failed culvert.

 A portion of Highway 5 south of Side Lake is temporarily closed after a culvert failed causing a partial washout. Detour signs are being posted directing travelers to use Green Rock Road, Sturgeon Road and McCarthy Beach Road as an alternate route.
