Disability Insurance

Why Disability Income Insurance? Most people insure their car, their health and their life. But consider how important it is to insure your paycheck. Your ability to earn a living affects every aspect of your life – and those who depend on you. St. Louis County offers a voluntary long term disability benefit.

Rates are unique to each enrollee.  They can be based upon and vary by hours worked,  wage rate and age.  The Enrollment Form contains a worksheet you can fill to estimate your premium.  If your labor contract provides for an employer paid contribution to your LTD premium, use the 30%/70% worksheet.  Otherwise, use the 100% employee paid worksheet.
